From the Princes Highway which crosses the new Grand Pacific Drive sea bridge before North Wollongong opened in July 2005. Continue through Kiama and onto Berry township. Take the Kangaroo Valley Road tourist drive - 1st right after the main town shops - follow the road over the mountains and turn right at Moss Vale Road. Go through Kangaroo Valley village and across the Hampden Bridge over the Kangaroo River and turn left at Bendeela Road. Drive 4km and turn left towards the picnic ground. Take the first left hand driveway.

Directions from Sydney via the Hume Highway

Follow the Hume Highway towards Canberra and take the turning for Mittagong. At Mittagong, turn left at the main fork in the road and follow the signs for Fitzroy Falls. Drive through Fitzroy Falls and enter the Valley via Barrengarry Mountain. Drive past the old Barrengarry store and take the first turning on the right, signposted to Bendeela picnic grounds. Follow the road for 4km until it veers sharp left towards the picnic ground and take the first driveway on the left.
